WORKS OF EXCELLENCE.

NATIONAL EXHIBITION • PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS 50 TO WATCH

WORKS OF EXCELLENCE • TO RETURN IN 2025

BIENNIAL EXHIBITION

The Works of Excellence exhibition is a fresh take on our well-known 50 To Watch showcase. When the biennial got disrupted by the pandemic, our gallery owner, Patric Stillman, decided to give it a new spin. Instead of focusing only on local artists, Works of Excellence is now a national exhibition that highlights the best mid-career and professional visual artists.

“I wanted to create something more impactful than just recognizing the same talented artists every year,” said Stillman. “A national exhibition allows regional artists to showcase their creativity alongside their peers from across the US. It’s a powerful boost for artists' careers and a great gauge of quality for patrons looking to expand their collections."

JURORS

The Studio Door appreciates our Works of Excellence jurors and encourages patrons to support these vital art spaces. It's heartening to see art professionals backing the broader community.
